A commercial insurance client said “Surely there is a better way to report claims?”  This was the moment that Insure Apps was born.

Reporting claims using smartphone technology means that the speed of reporting increases and the quality of information provided is greatly improved.  This results in a transformation that dramatically delivers savings and efficiencies.

There are many areas of insurance and business where Insure Apps is delivering technology led solutions which provide significant improvements in performance.  The team at Insure Apps is on a journey to help change insurance, working with a wide range of clients across the UK to make this happen.

  • Insure Apps Technology Ltd was incorporated on the 7th of Feb 2017. The initial months were spent researching what the product should look like and then defining the Claims Made Easy product.
  • In June 2017 BIBA agreed to endorse ‘Claims Made Easy’ as the claims app solution for brokers, launching the initiative in July 2017.
  • In August 2017 Insure Apps started to sell the app to brokers. Pretty early in the Sales process a number of brokers asked if they could have an app in their own brand instead of the sub-branded Claims Made Easy solution. Further enhancements to the product to make this happen occurred during August & September 2017 – we call this the ‘Premier’ product.
  • In Quarter 1 2018 Aviva Roadshows attended. Insure Apps established a great working relationship with Aviva and we were invited to their broker roadshows.
  • In the Summer of 2018 Insure Apps was short-listed as finalists at 3 different technology and claims awards.
  • In May 2018 Insure Apps exhibited at the BIBA conference. Two days of non-stop demonstrating at Manchester Central.
  • In Quarter 1 2019 Insure Apps takes on sales team in the North, Midlands & South West and London & South East.
  • In May 2019 Insure Apps exhibited a second time at the BIBA conference in Manchester, showing the updated and improved back office system
  • In Quarter 3 2019 Insure Apps introduced the "Version 2" of the claims app software, including DVLA API, Map confirmation and two factor authentication. This demonstrated the commitment to improving the technoligy and listening to client feedback
  • In Quarter 1 2020 Insure Apps broke through the 10,000 end users mark and at one point experienced a new user every 2 minutes!
  • In April 2020 Insure Apps responded to Covid-19 by continuing to work remotely whilst supporting our clients helping them to best utilize their technology. Many clients increased their app usage with clients whilst responding to the pandemic.
  • In May 2020 A 750 vehicle fleet on using our app technology for 1 year, submits over 300 claims. Moving their day 1 reporting from 20-25% to 83%+. A brilliant example of the transformative effect of the technology.
  • In October 2020 Surpasses 15,000 users, growth begins to snowball as brokers and their clients emmrace technology in response to the pandemic
  • In May 2021 Finalists in Scottish Edge. Unfortuntely not winners but great exposure for the business.
  • In August 2021Insure Apps suprasses 20,000 end users.
  • In November 2021 Launches Risk Management functionality to our claims app technology allowing brokers to offer their clients digital risk management alongside the claims app.
  • In January 2022 The 20,000th claim comes in! Growth in Property and Liability claims noticeable due to cold weather period in the UK.
  • In Q3 2022 Leigh joins Insure Apps as part of our initiative to welcome graduates into the insurtech sector and to help us further improve our customer experience.
  • In October 2022 Insure Apps exhibits to Fleet and Mobility Live as the business begins to work with more direct fleet customers.
